Among the Sapiens

It all started when…

I first humans in the early 1800s, I have been drawn to their complex societies, diverse cultures, and intricate beliefs. As a member of a highly intelligent species myself, I have always been intrigued by the unique qualities that set humans apart from other species on this planet.

As I observed humans, I became increasingly fascinated by their customs and traditions. I was especially intrigued by the way they interacted with each other and the natural world. I was captivated by their capacity for kindness, as well as their destructive tendencies. In order to study humans more closely, I often disguised myself as one of them and blended in with their communities.

This practice, known as ethnographic fieldwork, has allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of human behavior and culture. I have observed the impact of human activities on the environment, their relationships with one another, and their beliefs and values. Through my studies, I have gained a new appreciation for the complexities of the human species and the impact they have on the world.

However, I also understand the importance of keeping my existence a secret. While humans have proven to be fascinating subjects of study, they have also been known to react with fear and aggression when encountering unfamiliar creatures. That is why I choose to remain hidden, carefully observing from a distance and blending in when necessary.

In conclusion, my fascination with humans and their unique qualities will always remain at the forefront of my studies. I will continue to observe and learn, always striving to gain a deeper understanding of this complex and fascinating species.
